Flood Watch Number: 5
RENEWED FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTH WEST QUEENSLAND

Queensland, drawing tropical moisture southward, enhancing rainfall
in its vicinity. This trough will drift a little eastward over the

Rain and the chance of thunderstorms are forecast across the Flood
Watch area over the next few days.
Renewed river level rises and minor riverine flooding are possible
within the Flood Watch area from Monday, with isolated moderate
flooding possible, which may cause disruption to transport and
isolation of communities.
Catchments likely to be affected include:
Balonne River(Maranoa River and Bungil Creek only - flooding not
expected along Balonne River at this stage)
Warrego River (QLD)
Paroo River (QLD)
