Weather Situation
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln offshore from the Pilbara coast is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. Lincoln will take a more southerly track, towards the far west Pilbara and northern Gascoyne coast on Saturday. Fresh to strong and gusty winds associated with this system will result in elevated fire dangers in the western Pilbara during Friday and Saturday.
