Watch and Act - Lady Penrhyn Drive (Warringah LGA)

Firefighters are monitoring the fire burning near Lady Penrhyn Drive at Beacon Hill.

Current Situation

With hot and windy conditions, the fire has flared up in the area of Brooker Avenue.

Firefighters and aircraft are on scene.

There is no immediate threat to properties.

Smoke is likely to remain visible around Beacon Hill and may drift towards Oxford Falls, Brookvale and Manly today.

Advice

Monitor conditions in your area.

Take advice from firefighters in the area.

Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving early is your safest option.
