Weather Situation
Very hot and windy conditions, ahead of a cold front, are generating elevated fire dangers in parts of the southern and central inland today then over central and northeastern districts on Sunday.

For the rest of Saturday 28 November:
Severe Fire Danger in the following fire areas:
Lower Central West Plains, Eastern Riverina, Southern Riverina and Northern Riverina

For Sunday 29 November:
Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire areas:
Far North Coast, North Coast, Greater Hunter, Greater Sydney Region and North Western

Very High Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire areas:
Illawarra/Shoalhaven, Central Ranges, New England and Northern Slopes
