Flinders, North West, Central West and Maranoa and Warrego Forecast
Districts.

Weather Situation:
Gusty thunderstorms continue over inland Qld, extending from the
Gulf Country to the southern interior.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the
warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Doomadgee, Cloncurry,
Julia Creek, Winton, Richmond, areas west of Blackall, areas to the
west of Charleville, and an active line of thunderstorms moving
towards Roma from the west.
Winton recorded a wind gust of 107 km/hr at 4.56pm
Cloncurry recorded a wind gust of 62 km/h at 3.26pm
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.
