Districts.

Weather Situation:
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the
next several hours in parts of the Gulf Country, Northern
Goldfields and Upper Flinders, North West and Central West
districts.
Locations which may be affected include Doomadgee, Hughenden,
Richmond, Kamilaroi Station, Augustus Downs Station and
Stamford.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and
large hailstones over the next several hours in parts of the
Channel Country district.
Locations which may be affected include Windorah, Bulloo Downs,
Eromanga, Mt Howitt Station and Morney.
Cloncurry recorded a wind gust of 98 km/hr at 4.10pm
Trepell recorded a wind gust of 109 km/h at 2.40pm
Camooweal recorded a wind gust of 75 km/h as 2.38pm
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
