Weather Situation: A complex trough is moving over the State and is interacting with a moist unstable airmass.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging wind gusts in excess of 90km/h in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Roxby Downs, Leigh Creek, Marree, Hawker and Woomera.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula and Mid North districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

Thunderstorms resulted in 36 mm of rain in about an hour at Woomera early Monday evening.

A wind gust of 84 km/h occurred at Leigh Creek around 7pm Monday.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
