Damaging winds possible over southern coastal districts tonight.

A fast moving cold front will move across southern coastal districts late this evening and early Wednesday morning.

Damaging winds averaging 50-70 km/h with gusts in excess of 90 km/h, are forecast in
the warning area near and ahead of the front, particularly associated with squally showers and thunderstorms.

Winds are expected to ease to below severe strength before dawn Wednesday, however will remain strong and gusty around coastal areas.

Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Mount Gambier, Kingscote, Naracoorte, Victor Harbor, Meningie, Keith, Millicent and Lucindale.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
