Windy with gusty showers and thunderstorms across far southern parts Thursday.

Weather situation: A trough will move across far southern SA during Thursday morning.
DAMAGING NORTH TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS, averaging 50-65 km/h with gusts around 90 km/h, are forecast about exposed coasts of the warning area from early Thursday morning. Squally showers and thunderstorms with gusts in excess of 90 km/h are also possible throughout the warning area.
Winds are expected to ease during the day on Thursday.

Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Kingscote, Naracoorte, Robe, Millicent and Lucindale.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
