VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WITH DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN THE SIMPSON AND SOUTHERN BARKLY

Weather Situation: Destructive winds are possible for the next few hours associated with a squall line near aligned from roughly Ti Tree to Arltunga, moving to the northeast. Large hailstones are also possible.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and possible large hailstones over the next several hours in parts of the Barkly, Simpson, Tanami and Lasseter districts. Locations which may be affected include Ali Curung, Arltunga, Ti Tree and Jervois.

137 KM/H GUST AT TERRITORY GRAPE FARM AT 7:26 PM.

115 km/h gust was recorded at Alice Springs Airport at 6:01pm.

93 km/h gust was recorded at Walungurru Airport at 3:44pm.
