SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH POSSIBLE INTENSE RAINFALL TO THE WEST OF ESK AND KILCOY.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 5:05 pm, a VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM likely to produce heavy, locally intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding, damaging winds and large hailstones was detected near the area southwest of Esk, the area west of Esk and the area northwest of Esk. This thunderstorm is slow moving. It is forecast to affect Toogoolawah by 5:35 pm and Esk, the area south of Esk and northern Lake Wivenhoe by 6:05 pm.
