- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

For Thursday 5 February:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the Australian Capital Territory.

Weather Situation
Hot and dry conditions with increasing west to northwest winds will drive extreme fire dangers on Thursday. There is also the chance of isolated thunderstorms bringing a risk of dry lightning during the afternoon.
