For Thursday 12 September:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Lasseter, Simpson, Darwin and Adelaide River, Barkly South and Tanami South

Weather Situation
Over the northwest Top End, hot and dry east to southeasterly winds will cause elevated fire danger during Thursday afternoon and evening across the Darwin and Adelaide River fire district.

Over the southern parts fresh and gusty winds, combined with dry conditions will cause elevated fire danger during Thursday across the Lasseter, Simpson, Barkly South and Tanami South fire districts.
