FLOODING IS POSSIBLE IN THE FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM SATURDAY

A tropical low is forecast to move into the Top End and deepen during the weekend, then track westwards across the Timor Sea from Sunday or early next week. This could bring widespread falls, some possibly heavy in parts of the Flood Watch area.

Catchments are moderately wet in the Flood Watch area.

River level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Flood Watch area, which may affect road access. Some communities may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.

Katherine River

Daly River above Douglas River

Lower Daly River

Finniss River

Tiwi Islands

Upper Adelaide River

Adelaide River below Adelaide River Town

Mary River

Wildman River

South Alligator River

East Alligator River

Waterhouse River
