The dangerous fire near Mackellor Road is still burning. The fire is not under control.

It is not safe to return to the area. The fire is still dangerous and could change quickly.

What you should do:

- If you are in danger, call Triple Zero (000) now.

- Check for warning updates often and listen to your local radio station.

- If you stayed:

- Protect yourself from heat and smoke. If you need medication to help you breathe keep it close.

- Watch for embers and spot fires around your home. These may impact your home earlier than the main fire. Put them out quickly with water.

- If the smoke is thick where you are, stay inside and close windows and doors.

- Do not fly drones around the fire as they affect firefighting.

- The ground in burnt areas could still be very hot.
