Properties between Kakadu Avenue, Gore Highway, Violet Road and Wombinebong Drive Warning area:

The fire near Primrose Drive is still burning. It is travelling towards Waratah Drive. If you left the area, it is not safe to return.

Firefighters are working to contain the fire.

What you should do:
- If you left the area, stay where you are. It is not safe to return.
- Stay informed:
- Keep checking the QFES Current Bushfires and Warnings website
- Follow QFES on Facebook and Twitter - Listen to your local radio station.
If you stayed:
- If you have a bushfire survival plan, follow it now.
- Be ready to leave in case the situation changes:
- Charge mobile phones and power banks if you still can.
- Be ready to take your pets, pet food, pet lead or crate/carrier.
- Pack a bag with mobile phone charger, enough clothes for five days, important documents (like ID, insurance papers, passports and photos), medicine, cash and keys.
- Decide where you and the people you live with will go if conditions get worse. Plan how you will get there. Tell others where you are going.
- There is an evacuation centre at the Millmerran Showgrounds, 171 Millmerran Cecil Plains Road, Millmerran.
- Avoid driving on Gore Highway, Ayers Rock Road, Primrose Drive, Waratah Drive, Orchid Drive, Poolamacca Drive.
- Check road closures and traffic updates at the QLD Traffic website (https://qldtraffic.qld.gov.au/) or call 13 19 40.
- Move flammable items away from your house if you can.
- Watch out for firefighters working in the area.
- Do not fly drones around the fire. Drones affect air operations.
