ISOLATED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS CATCHMENTS FROM CAPRICORNIA TO WIDE BAY AND BURNETT, INCLUDING ADJACENT INLAND CATCHMENTS FROM LATE TUESDAY

Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is forecast for catchments in the Flood Watch area for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday. This may cause isolated minor flooding across catchments in parts of the Capricornia and Wide Bay and Burnett from late Tuesday and into Wednesday. Further showers are forecast for the remainder of the week and into the weekend.

A separate Flood Watch is current for the Gulf Country and parts of Western Queensland and the Cape York Peninsula.

Catchments likely to be affected include:

Dawson and Don Rivers
Calliope River
Boyne River
Baffle Creek
Kolan River
Burnett River
Burrum and Cherwell Rivers
Mary River

Flood warnings are current for the following catchment(s) : Herbert, Suttor, Connors, Isaac and Mackenzie and Fitzroy, Nogoa, Thomson, Jordan, Diamantina, Georgina and Eyre, Lower Flinders, Norman.
