Severe thunderstorms continuing in the Gulf Country.

Weather Situation: Slow moving thunderstorms in a very moist environment in the Gulf Country are producing heavy rainfall.

Severe thunderstorms are likely in the warning area over the next several hours.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Thunderstorms are forecast to affect Normanton and Karumba.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders and North West districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
