For Wednesday 7 January:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and Lower South East

Weather Situation
Very hot and dry Wednesday with freshening north to northwesterly winds followed by a fresh southwesterly change about the west and south. Fire danger is expected to reach extreme as a result over much of the State on Wednesday.
