Severe thunderstorms continue, moving into central and eastern parts of the state.

Weather Situation: A surface trough ahead of a southwesterly cool change is generating severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Maitland and Jamestown.

107 km/h gust at Port Augusta at 5:27 pm.
94 km/h gust at Wudinna at 6:19 pm.
101 km/h gust at Whyalla at 8.39 pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
