Severe thunderstorms continue in central SA this afternoon.

Weather Situation: A hot airmass and a broad low pressure trough combine to trigger thunderstorms, which are moving towards the southeast. Some of these thunderstorms are expected to be severe.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Murray Bridge, Waikerie, Karoonda, Burra, Peterborough and Coonalpyn.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
