Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts continuing over the west of South Australia this evening.

Weather Situation: A warm and unstable airmass combines with a low-pressure system and associated trough of low-pressure to trigger high-based thunderstorms over the west of the state this evening.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging wind gusts in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Nullarbor, Ernabella, Amata, Maralinga, Oak Valley and Cook.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
