Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall in North East Pastoral district this evening.

Weather Situation: Slow moving thunderstorms in a moist and unstable environment are producing heavy rainfall in far north South Australia through this evening.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Dalhousie Springs, the Simpson Desert Conservation Park and Mungeranie on the Birdsville Track.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
