Slow moving and VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS are occurring over
the over the Lower South East early this morning.
Weather Situation: A very humid airmass is in place near a
stationary trough located over the far southeast of SA. Slow moving
lines of thunderstorms developing in this environment will be
capable of producing heavy rainfall, locally intense.
VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS are likely to produce heavy, locally
intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening
flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Naracoorte,
Robe, Millicent and Lucindale.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
