GIANT HAIL and DESTRUCTIVE WIND GUSTS likely in isolated cells in the north.

Weather Situation: a dryline through central Australia will combine with a broad, moist airmass to produce severe thunderstorm activity this afternoon and early evening.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the North West Pastoral district. Locations which may be affected include Marla, Ernabella and Amata.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
