Severe thunderstorms with locally INTENSE RAINFALL about the far south east of the state.

Weather Situation: An upper low in combination with a surface trough is triggering thunderstorms about the south east of the state.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy, locally intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Naracoorte and Millicent.
Observations to 6:00pm include:
48.2mm in 1 hr at Naracoorte

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move cars under cover.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
