Severe thunderstorms continue this morning in central parts of the state.

Weather Situation: Strong northerly winds ahead of a cold front have triggered gusty thunderstorms in central parts of the state this morning.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Murray Bridge, Hawker, Keith, Lameroo and Meningie.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Eastern Eyre Peninsula and Yorke Peninsula districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

95 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mount Crawford at 2:47am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
