Potential for Heavy Rain over Tasman Peninsula with slow moving training convection.

Weather Situation:
A moist northeasterly flow is producing favourable condition for Heavy Rain over the southeast corner of the state. A convergence line has setup over Tasman Peninsula producing convection that is moving over the same area repeatedly.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Avoid driving, walking or riding through flood waters.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
