Watch and Act - Bushfire - Prepare to Evacuate

This Watch and Act message is being issued for Cobbannah, Glenaladale, Moornapa.

It is strongly recommended you Prepare to Evacuate and monitor emergency warnings.
There is a bushfire at Duffy Rd, Briagolong that is not yet under control.
Bairnsdale-Dargo Road is now open. Police will remain in the area.
Drive carefully, smoke may be over the road.
Numerous fires are still active in the area.
FFMVic and CFA firefighters are continuing to work on the fire assisted by aircraft.
If you are located in this area, act now to protect your life. Prepare to evacuate immediately and leave as soon as you are ready, as roads will become busy as people leave.

Momentos and photos
Pet essentials, including leash and carriers.
If possible, make sure your neighbours are aware of the situation and check if they need help.
Check the VicRoads website for road closures.

When you are ready, you should leave immediately. Don't wait to be told when to leave.

Where to go:
You can go to friends or family in a safer location.
Residents in the warning area should leave by travelling south towards Sale.
