Watch and Act - Bushfire - Not Safe to Return

This Watch and Act message is being issued for Long Gully Road to
College Road area, east of Mt William.
This Watch and Act message replaces the Watch and Act issued at
2.52pm, 30 December 2024.
It is Not Safe to Return to Long Gully Road to College Road area,
east of Mt William.
The spread of the bushfire has slowed for now, but the situation
can change at any time. You must monitor conditions and be ready to
act.
There are numerous trees impacted by fire in the area and it is
not safe to enter.
Many roads within the fire affected areas have not been assessed
and remain closed due to tree risk. Crews will be undertaking
assessment and treatment over the coming days.
If you left the area from Long Gully Road to College Road in the
impacted fire area, it is Not Safe to Return.
Be aware of potential dangerous bushfire and tree hazards.
What you should do:
If you have not already left:
Stay where you are and avoid dangerous bushfire and tree
hazards.
Check you have enough food, drinking water and medications - if
you do not, phone Triple Zero (000) for assistance.
If you have already left:
Do not return to your home until a Safe to Return notification is
issued.
