For Tuesday 17 February:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather
districts:
Central, North Central, South West, West and South Gippsland and
Wimmera
Weather Situation
A hot day with fresh north to northwest winds will drive Extreme
fire dangers on Tuesday. A gusty west to southwest change will
reach the west in the early afternoon and central districts by
early evening. There is also the risk of thunderstorms with
damaging winds on and behind the wind change.
