RENEWED RIVER LEVEL RISES ARE EXPECTED AND MINOR FLOODING MAY
DEVELOP ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM TUESDAY
ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE
Moderate rainfall has been forecast for the flood watch area from
overnight Monday through to Wednesday morning.
Renewed river level rises are expected across the flood watch area
with minor flooding possible from Tuesday. Isolated moderate
flooding may also develop if the rainfall is in the upper end of
the forecast range.
Catchments across the flood watch area are wet and stream levels
remain elevated as a result of recent rainfall and flooding is
still ongoing in some catchments. Stream levels are likely to
respond quickly to forecast rainfall.
Catchments likely to be affected include:
Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta Rivers
Kiewa River
Ovens and King Rivers
Broken River
Seven and Castle Creeks
Goulburn River Eildon to Seymour
Goulburn River downstream of Seymour
Loddon River
Avoca River
