MINOR TO ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA OVER
THE WEEKEND

Moderate to locally heavy rainfall has been recorded over much of the Flood
Watch area since early Thursday. The highest totals have been recorded over the
South West and parts of Gippsland. Further rainfall is forecast across the
Flood Watch area for the remainder of Saturday, with the most significant
totals forecast across parts of Gippsland before the rain contracts to East
Gippsland during Sunday. Minor to isolated moderate flooding is possible across
the Flood Watch area over the weekend.

Catchments across the Flood Watch area are moderately wet to wet and are likely
to respond relatively quickly to rainfall.

A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current for West and South
Gippsland and parts of Central, South West and East Gippsland Forecast
Districts.

Mitchell River

Avon River

Macalister River

Thomson River

Latrobe River

Traralgon Creek

South Gippsland Rivers

Bunyip River and Dandenong Creek (Minor flood warning current for the
Bunyip River)

Yarra River upstream of Warrandyte

Werribee River (For Kororoit Creek only. Minor flood warning
current for the Werribee River)

Barwon, Leigh and Moorabool Rivers

Otway Coast

Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta Rivers

Kiewa River

Ovens and King Rivers

Broken River

Seven and Castle Creeks

Goulburn River upstream of Lake Eildon

Goulburn River Eildon to Seymour

Goulburn River downstream of Seymour

Loddon River

Avoca River
