MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF NORTH AND NORTH EAST VICTORIA FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON, WITH A CHANCE OF ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING

A cold front extends across central Victoria and will continue to move eastward
across the state during Saturday. Moderate rainfall is forecast across the
flood watch area, with higher totals expected in the eastern ranges and alpine
areas.

Catchments are wet to very wet, with river levels elevated in some areas, and
are likely to respond quickly to further rainfall. Minor flooding may develop
across the Flood Watch area from Saturday afternoon onwards, with the chance of
isolated moderate flooding in areas of higher rainfall.

Catchments likely to be affected include:

Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta Rivers

Kiewa River

Ovens and King Rivers

Loddon River

Avoca River

Murray River downstream of Tocumwal

Flood Warnings are current for the following catchment(s): Loddon and Murray
d/s of Tocumwal
