Please note this warning is now a Bushfire Watch and Act - Monitor Conditions due to reports of a change in fire direction. Please note there may be a lot of smoke over Camballin-Myroodah Road.

Bushfire Watch and Act - MONITOR CONDITIONS - CAMBALLINA Bushfire Watch and Act is in place for people bounded by Camballin Road, Durack Street, Forrest Street in CAMBALLIN in the SHIRE OF DERBY/WEST KIMBERLEY.
There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is burning in the area and conditions are changing.WHAT TO DO
Stay alert and monitor your surroundings as conditions could change.
You may need to act quickly so ensure you are prepared if the situation gets worse.
Read through your plan. If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA or in the Emergency WA app.
Have your emergency kit ready.
If you are not prepared or you plan to leave, leave now if the way is clear.
If you find it hard to move quickly, leaving now is your safest option.
Keep your doors and windows closed to keep out smoke.
Continue to patrol your property and be ready to put out spot fires.
If you plan to stay and defend ensure you are mentally and physically prepared, with protective clothing and an independent water supply.
Bushfire Advice - MONITOR CONDITIONS - CAMBALLINA Bushfire Advice is in place for people in the vicinity of the Looma Communities and south east of the Camballin Community in CAMBALLIN in the SHIRE OF DERBY/WEST KIMBERLEY.

Turn your headlights on and drive slowly.
Watch for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.

The bushfire is moving in a south easterly direction toward the river.
It is burning on both sides of Camballin-Myroodah Road.
Forecast variable winds may cause the fire to change direction.
It is not contained or controlled.ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONSRoads have not been closed.Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully.
