For Sunday 8 December:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather
districts:
Ashburton Coast, Exmouth Gulf Coast and Yarra Yarra
Weather Situation
Over the Yarra Yarra fire weather district fresh and gusty
easterly winds coupled with hot temperatures ahead of a fresh
southwesterly change in the afternoon will drive extreme fire
dangers on Sunday. Possible thunderstorms with dry lightning in the
south also a slight risk.
Over the Exmouth Gulf Coast and Ashburton Coast fire weather
districts moderate southwesterly winds freshening in the afternoon
and early evening with very hot and relatively dry conditions will
drive extreme fire dangers on Sunday.
