Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

Lasseter, Simpson, Darwin and Adelaide River, Barkly South and Tanami South
For Friday 13 September:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Darwin and Adelaide River
Weather Situation

Over the northwest Top End, hot and dry east to southeasterly winds will cause elevated fire danger across the Darwin and Adelaide River fire district, easing during this evening.

Over the southern parts fresh and gusty south to southeasterly winds, combined with dry conditions will cause elevated fire danger across the Lasseter, Simpson, Barkly South and Tanami South fire districts ,easing during this evening.

On Friday hot and dry east to southeasterly winds will cause elevated fire danger on Friday during the day and into the evening, over the Darwin and Adelaide River fire district. An afternoon sea breeze will move inland during the afternoon and evening.
