Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
North East Pastoral

Weather Situation
Hot and dry conditions combined with fresh and gusty northwesterly winds with a strong and gusty southerly change later in the day are leading to extreme fire dangers over the North East Pastoral district on Saturday. There is also the risk of high-based isolated thunderstorms with dry lightning over north and east parts of the state in the afternoon and evening.
