Slow moving thunderstorms have developed over the North East Pastoral

Weather Situation: A moist and unstable airmass is combining with strong upper-level forcing to produce severe thunderstorms over northeast SA. Heavy rainfall is the primary risk along with possible damaging wind gusts with persistent thunderstorm activity this afternoon and evening. Storms are generally moving slowly towards the southeast.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding with possible damaging wind gusts in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Leigh Creek, Moomba and Marree.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
