Severe thunderstorms with heavy falls in the northeast of SA.

Weather Situation: Tropical moisture from the Gulf of Carpentaria is combining with a midlevel trough to produce slow-moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include the Simpson Desert Conservation Park.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
