Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.emergency.wa.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
For Friday 16 February:
Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Roe, Lakes and Fitzgerald Inland
Weather Situation
Extreme fire dangers are forecast on Friday due to very hot and dry temperatures, combined with fresh northeast to northerly winds tending northwest to westerly during the late morning to afternoon. A fresh southwest to southerly wind change expected to move through from the late afternoon into the early evening, is an added risk.
