- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

For Friday 12 December:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Yarra Yarra, Karroun, Lockwood, Mortlock and Avon

Weather Situation
Hot and dry conditions in combination with fresh winds may lead to elevated fire dangers on Thursday evening. Southwesterly change extending from the west across the warning area by early evening before winds gradual easing into the late evening.

On Friday hot and dry conditions in combination with fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds may lead to elevated fire dangers. Winds albeit a little in the evening.
